Singing is fun!

Cameron started singing with our church children's choir a few months ago. Today he got to show off that hard work in a holiday choir performance. He totally ROCKED out to Joy To The World:

If you can't see it here, view it here.

Cameron is getting very excited about the holidays and Star Wars Lego Saga on the Wii. He gets so focused on specific games and topics. It's pretty amazing. We're also moving to the final book in the Spikerwick Chronicles. It's an intense book series but we love it. It's another other one those things where you find Cameron doing something above his age... and the next moment he throws a fit or gets angry about something silly and it reminds me that he's only six!! Through it all, I'm thankful he still lets me give him a cuddle and a hug from time to time. He's a sweetheart and I'm so happy to be his mom.

Big deal choir performance

Cam performed for the first time as a big kid in the big kid choir. His group performed with the adult choir. Here's a portion of the performance without the adults singing. Cameron is a little fleck in the front middle wearing a bit of navy blue.

Sledding fun

Cameron is starting to really enjoy his sled... And living with a really cool, steep road next to our house makes things really fun -- With parental supervision of course.

That little giggle of his as he's sliding down the hill is fantastic.

Last day of preschool

It's official. Cam's last day is today. So last night I spent a bunch of time editing video together for Cam's friends' families. Here's a snippet I put together from graduation when the kids sang "I Won't Grow Up."

I also went through all of my school pictures and separated them out to burn CDs for each family. I didn't count, but I think I made at least ten different picture CDs. I couldn't imagine not sharing them. Randy put it best: Today is the last day Cam is ever going to play with some of these kids. Our town is large enough that he might see some of these kids in passing, but they won't have a school connection. I couldn't imagine losing touch before offering each family my view of their kids. I've been lucky enough to have a job that's given me time to get to know a lot of them!

By the way

We put this little video together in honor of Grandma Lee's big birthday today. She's already seen it, but I figure sharing it with the general blog world will just rub in her grand new age.

Love you Mom!

Risky guy

So Cam's taking a few more risks on his "balancing bike." It's a bike that doesn't have any pedals to help him learn how to balance first. He got a real bike for Christmas, but he hasn't been convinced that learning how to pedal is the way to go.

Anyway. My mom visited this weekend and caught this moment of Cam riding his bike. Notice how she got all freaked out and I cheered:

He will hate me for this

Cameron has been really into High School Musical... I've mentioned this before. But now I have proof:

If you can't see it, go to here.

He will hate me for posting this someday.
